In today’s society, mental health awareness is an important topic that needs to be discussed openly and honestly. From an Islamic perspective, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in kids is not only crucial but also aligns with the teachings of compassion, empathy, and understanding that our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emulated and upheld.

Prayer and Supplication:

Emphasize the power of prayer and supplication as a means of seeking comfort, strength, and healing. Teach children the importance of relying on Allah during difficult times and encourage them to turn to Him in times of distress.

Faith-Based Counseling:

Seek guidance from qualified and knowledgeable Islamic counselors or psychologists who can provide a holistic approach to mental health while incorporating Islamic principles and values.

Education and Awareness:

Educate ourselves and our children about mental health disorders, their causes, and available treatments. Promote understanding and acceptance of mental health issues as a normal part of human experience.
