Developing Sustainable Children’s Media
One of the greatest challenges in Islamic media is the costs associated with producing content. We live in a world dominated by international media companies that produce TV programs, films and video games with budgets in hundreds of millions of dollars.
An example is Disney’s animated blockbuster Frozen.
The feature film cost $1.5 million and according to Disney made $1.2 billion at the box office.
This makes for the toughest of competition.
Muslim Kids TV hopes to hear this month regarding a proposal it has before the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in one of the GCC countries. We ask Allah SWT that the very modest Muslim Kids TV proposal will be accepted.
Millions of children around the world have benefited from Muslim Kids TV. As a community we must make every effort to support and build the institutions that serve to educate future generations.
Ministry of Awqaf support will enable further development of the Muslim Kids TV platform and the production of much needed new content.
